Krishanda & Giuseppe Bonfiglio - September 14, 2008

Giuseppe and Krishanda are such an awesome couple!  Their wedding was held at The Cliffs in Pismo Beach with Reverend Theresa C. Desmond overseeing the ceremony.  I think the trailer speaks for itself, but with glorious weather, great food, an amazing band and such a cool couple, there wasn't room for anything less than a perfect day!

Kevin Castillo took the pictures below:

Like I said... a perfect day!

We had a short time with Krishanda and Giuseppe on the beach... as you can see it made for a pretty awesome photo/video session.

Krishanda looked stunning.  The orchids in the hair was a very nice addition to the Hawaiian themed wedding.

Dancing into the sunset.

I wish you two all the best in your new life together!  Thank you for letting me share in the celebration!

Julie & Justin Turner - September 6, 2008

This was one of my favorite weddings, by far.  Julie, Justin and their friends and family put together a wedding to remember.  Aside from being 100 degrees outside, everything came together beautifully.  Julie looked absolutely stunning in her dress and as a United States Marine, Justin wore the traditional blues.  We actually broke out the crane for a few of the shots in the trailer - something we don't usually get to do, but couldn't resist with such an awesome couple.  I hope you enjoy this trailer as much I enjoyed shooting and editing it!

Set at Villa Toscana , a gorgeous bed and breakfast in Paso Robles, CA, Mary kept everything running smoothly. In fact, she is one of the most punctual wedding planners/organizers I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  She rocked it!

Epic.

Julie Wilson and her son Daniel Wilson took the pictures you're looking at.  I can't say enough about these two.  Their ability to subtly and elegantly capture such precious moments is uncanny.  If you're looking for true photo journalistic photographers who know what they're doing, look no further.

Floral décor was handled by Eileen at Adornments.  I think the picture speaks for itself - simply gorgeous!

Alfred at AMS Entertainment spun the tunes for the evening.  Keeping everyone informed on what was happening next, Al set a perfect pace for the day.

Coast Nitelites handled the lighting for the event.  If you need event lighting, these guys know how to set a mood while keeping you on budget!

Rockin' a kiss with the veil in the wind. Way cool.

Capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments...

Not a bad way to start as husband and wife!

Julie and Justin, I wish you both the very best in your life together.  Thank you so much for letting me and the rest of our team at Rain Studios be a part of your special day!

The Worst Best Man Ever

I often hear of outrageous and catastrophic things happening at weddings (I've witnessed many firsthand), but this one was just too much.  Check out this clip and let me know what you think.

I know this is terrible, but I couldn't help but laugh at least a little.  Definitely one of those funny-now-that-we-look-back-on-it moments.

Tom & Nicole Nelson - September 15, 2007

Tom and Nicole are such an awesome couple.  I actually had the chance to travel through Israel with Tom last year and let me tell you, he can throw down a mean robot dance in the middle of the desert.  Aside from his madstyle wicked-sick moves, he's one of the most rock solid, God-fearing people I know.  I was truly blessed to be a part of their special day.

The two exchanged vows, led by Aaron Porter, and celebrated at the Paso Robles Inn. From Nicole's cascading bouquet to the seemingly endless line dancing at the reception, their wedding was definitely one to treasure.

A good friend and photographer, Jake, took the pictures below.

I pray that God blesses the two of you richly in your new life together. Much love.

Christopher & Lauren Cook - August 16, 2008

I met Chris and Lauren at the Madonna Wedding Fair and it's been a blast getting to know and work with these two since then. Their story ought to be turned into a Hollywood movie - Lauren was a teller where Chris banked, and after having friends write him check after check, just so he could deposit them and hopefully see his "bank teller angel," he finally found the courage to ask her out.  The rest, as they say, is history.

The wedding was simply amazing.  Chris and Lauren did a phenomenal job of planning their special day, and it showed. Overlooking Edna Valley, they exchanged vows at Tiber Canyon Ranch - a beautiful country setting with log cabins, intricate metal work and indescribable panoramic views. DJ Greg Perez from Playtime Productions confidently spun the tunes and MC'd for the night. From the Red Rider BB Guns to coolest cake topper I have ever seen, the Cook wedding was one that will not soon be forgotten.

Chris came to me after not being completely thrilled with his first photographer and I introduced the lovely couple to Ely Roberts, a good friend of mine and a very talented photographer.  Below are a few highlights of the day.

Doesn't this look like it should be in a magazine ad for some exclusive New York designer? Very vogue.

Lauren looked absolutely stunning.

We're all big fans of this picture. This is the stuff fairy tales are made of.

I wish you both the very best in your new life together.  Congratulations!

Julie & Tim Morris - June 8, 2008

As if shooting a wedding wasn't hard enough, try being the best man, too. Fortunately, I had an awesome crew, including Squirrelly and Ely. Much thanks, you two.

The wedding was at a bath house in Seattle, Washington and though the ceremony took place in the middle of a public park, things went fairly well. I mean, when it rains every day before and every day after your wedding, you can't help but think Someone's looking out for you...

So, under the blue skies, with the gentle drone of a generator humming away, I stood front row, watching my brother get married by our dad. Definitely not something that happens every day.

Julie and Tim - you two are amazing.  Nothing but love for you both!

Kate & Aaron Luders - June 14, 2008

Can you imagine planning a wedding for over 350 people?  Well, that's just what Kate and Aaron did this summer at the Santa Margarita Ranch and they did it with flying colors. From keeping everyone cool with cardboard "fan programs" and Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream, to floating across the dance floor as Brian McKnight set the mood, these two hosted a wedding to remember.

Signs telling the story of how the two came to this very special day greeted guests as they made the trek down the dusty road. Very cool.

Christan and Allegra were the photographers and I must say, they did a wonderful job.  It's great getting to work with people who love what they do.

Lovin' the country setting...

Congratulations!!!  I wish you both the very best!

Chris & Erin Mazzei - February 16, 2008

My wife and I had know Erin for a while, and got to know her even more as she helped plan and coordinate our wedding. Almost a year later, Chris emailed me less than a month prior to his wedding as asked if I could video their wedding. Surprisingly, I had the weekend free and I'm stoked I did. Erin and Chris' Paso Robles Inn wedding was stunning. These two are perfect for each other and were so fun getting to know. All the best!

I think the trailer speaks for itself... Pastor Aaron did such a great job!

Erin looked simply amazing.

The flower petals were such a cool addition to the recessional!

Rockin' a kiss in the Bentley. Not a bad way to start things off! =)

It seemed like everything was working to make this day perfect. From the koi fish in the ponds to the sun setting through the girls' umbrellas, I don't think you could ask for better.

Way cool. Congratulations to the both of you and I wish you all the very best!

Melanie & Corey Knowlton - November 11, 2007

Corey actually bumped into me at a mutual friend's wedding (Tom & Nicole Nelson). We exchanged info and a few weeks later he showed up at the studio to discuss the details of the wedding. I'm sure Corey was thinking he made a mistake hiring "Rain Studios" to capture his special day as rain began falling on the day of their outdoor vineyard wedding. Fortunately, the rain cleared up five minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to begin. Video, pictures and words can only begin to describe the beauty of this setting...

This was such a fun trailer to edit. The setting, colors and decorations couldn't have been more stunning.

Enough said...

Get him, Melanie!!!

Congratulations! It was such a blessing getting to be a part of your wedding and I wish you both the best for years to come.

Matt & Amber Johnson - July 14, 2007

Matt & Amber are good friends of my wife, Katherine. We were fortunate enough to be a part of this very awesome wedding.

Amber and Matt, you guys are such an amazing couple... it was so much fun getting to be a part of your very special day. Thank you!!!

This is actually one of the first weddings we edited into a movie trailer - a concept that we have since developed and pursued. I'm so glad it could start with Amber and Matt. All the best!
